Garment Care: Cold water washing is recommended for all Row West garments but is critical if you have clothing with high contrast colours. Reds and blues are the most sensitive colours. At Row West, prior to using a fabric, the material is left to soak in very hot water to subject it to the worst conditions. Almost all of the fabrics pass this test without bleeding, but this still can't guarantee that a red and white shirt will survive a ride through a warm water wash with strong detergents. SO please wash with cold water.
Hang drying helps to extend the life of most technical fabrics but the dryer will not destroy them either. If you put them in the dryer, most of the technical fabrics don't need to be in very long, so don't cook them for an hour. Try 20 to 30 minutes on medium temperature.
Cotton Shirts will shrink a bit after first wash and dry - mostly in length of body and sleeves.
